Spotify is rolling out some major updates to its mobile app, including on Android, which enable support for playlist folders and the ability to “reshuffle” your queue. In a series of quality-of-life updates, Spotify has four changes to share: Only three of those apply to Android – background downloads have been supported for Spotify’s Android app for years, and it’s frankly wild that iOS users still have to deal with so many problems around downloading content for offline playback without leaving the app open. It’s a problem across tons of apps. On the Android side of things, there are some welcome changes.
